delegates meeting at the Zionist
Cultural Center in Southfield at
7:45 p.m. Wednesday. President

program about their activities.
B'nai B'rith Women's Second
Chance Shop manager, Arlynne

New Year's Eve ball will be held
at Cong. Shaarey Zedek on Dec.
31 at 9:30 p.m., featuring Jerry

B'NAI B'RITH METROPOLI-
TAN DETROIT COUNCIL and
the Southfield Police Department
will present a program on safe
holiday shopping and personal se-
curity at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the
multi-purpose room in the South-
field Civic Center Parks and Rec-
reation Building. Officer Russ
Gray, crime prevention specialist
of the department, will be the
speaker. The program is free and
open to the public.

REAL ESTATE AND CON-
STRUCTION UNIT has voted to
accept women involved in real es-
tate and business as members of
the unit. New officers and trus-
tees are: Isaiah Shafir, president;
Jerry Beale, Morton Dermer, Leo
Eagle, Jonathan Holtzman, Barry
Klein, Eric Lutz, Harold Nyman,
Graham Orley, Gilbert "Buzz"
Silverman, Sheila Sloan and
Bruce Wayne, vice presidents; Les
Perlman, financial secretary;
David Chicorel, treasurer; Julie
Ritten, recording secretary; and
Lore Cohn, corresponding secre-
tary.
Trustees are: Leland Allcut, Jr.,
Sol Benaderet, Melvin Bonin, Irv-
ing Glancy, Allen Glass, Leo Maj-
zels, Arie Moskovitz, Jack
Pomeroy, Earl Sherman, Norman
Steel, Gerald Sukenic, Israel Tal,
Isaak Itkis, Harry Krim and
Maynard Metler.
Joel Willens is the chaplain,
and Art Schott adviser.
The unit will visit the River-
front model apartments, health
club and marina at 10 a.m. Sun-
day. Complimentary breakfast
will be served. The gathering will
provide the opportunity to meet
the Real Estate and Construction
Unit members and some of the
Riverfront associates.
Holtzman will speak at 11 a.m.
