Park. Parents of the bridegroom
are Philip and Hadassah Schultz
of Brooklyn, N.Y.
The bridegroom's sister, De-
borah Schultz, was the maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Beth
Arnold, Robyn Epstein of
Chicago, Ill., Susan Fershtman,

Daniel Schultz was his
brother's best man. Ushers were
the bride's brother, Brian Papo,
and Jeffrey Kantowitz of Fair
Lawn, N.J., Jeremy Newberger of

Philadelphia, Pa.
The bride's grandmothers,
Esther Malamud and Mary Papo,
and the bridegroom's grand-
mother, Batya Pecker of Brook-
lyn, N.Y., also participated in the
ceremony.

on interethnic relations in Israel

National council of Jewish
Women, Greater Detroit Section,
and Midrasha-College of Jewish
Studies will present a lecture by
Dr. Wendy Orent on "Current In-
terethnic Relations in Israel" on
Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Na-
tional Council of Jewish Women
offices, Cranbrook Office Center
North, 30233 Southfield, Suite
100, Southfield.
A mini-breakfast will be served
at 9:30 a.m. Pre-registration is
requested. There is a fee.
Dr. Orent has engaged in
fieldwork with the Circassian
Mulem community in Kfar
Kama, Israel; Georgian Jewish
informants in Michigan; and did
18 months of dissertation re-
search with Soviet Georgian im-
migrants to Israel.
