on interethnic relations in Israel

National council of Jewish
Women, Greater Detroit Section,
and Midrasha-College of Jewish
Studies will present a lecture by
Dr. Wendy Orent on "Current In-
terethnic Relations in Israel" on
Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Na-
tional Council of Jewish Women
offices, Cranbrook Office Center
North, 30233 Southfield, Suite
100, Southfield.
A mini-breakfast will be served
at 9:30 a.m. Pre-registration is
requested. There is a fee.
Dr. Orent has engaged in
fieldwork with the Circassian
Mulem community in Kfar
Kama, Israel; Georgian Jewish
informants in Michigan; and did
18 months of dissertation re-
search with Soviet Georgian im-
migrants to Israel.
