Containing one-third less calories than the regular kosher hot dog, it has a fat content of one-third less than the United States Department of Agricul- ture's 30 percent standard. Best Kosher Sausage Co. de- veloped this new healthful hot dog after more than two years of re- search and product testing to eliminate sugar content, reduce fat and salt and yet obtain a hearty and flavorful product. The new product has undergone ex- tensive consumer panel taste test- ing. One of the largest kosher meat processors in the United States, Best Kosher sells about 60 per- cent of its products through inde- pendent and chain supermarkets and delicatessens. The remaining sales are to the institutional trade. Best products are distrib- uted locally by Raskin- Kitchenmaid Foods, Inc.
