Mobilizing for the January
opening of the Allied Jewish
Campaign's community-wide ph-
ase, volunteers will gather at a
rally on Dec. 16 to share effective
methods of solicitation.
The event is set for 9:15 a.m. at
Hillel Day School. Continental
breakfast will be served.
Under the direction of Michael
Feldman, worker training chair-
man, and Edie Mittenthal, asso-
ciate chairman, the meeting will
include a series of workshops de-
signed to update participants on
various ways of reaching out to
contributors. Workshops will be
led by members of the worker
training committee.
Abbie Ben-Ari, a specialist in
mass communications and
spokesman for Israel, will be on-
hand to discuss the needs that
must be met this year.
