Investment in Israel probed Jerusalem (JTA) — Proposals to promote the large scale invest- ment of world Jewish capital in Israel in the coming years were discussed at a meeting of govern- ment leaders with Israeli bankers and industrialists here Tuesday. A similar meeting is scheduled to take place in New York between an American working team and Meir Dayan, representing the Is- Top teachers New York (JTA) — The Board of Jewish Education of Greater New York has announced that it plans to choose, for the first time, ten educators from area Jewish schools for recognition as "Distin- guished Teachers." He said about 2,000 permanent employes of the IDF will be dismissed, training and re- serve duty time will be reduced and aircraft and tanks will be op- erated fewer hours.
