Jewish performing
arts series set to
open in Ann Arbor

Celebration, Ann Arbor's
Jewish performing arts series will
begin its fourth season Jan. 19 at
8:30 p.m. at the Lydia Men-
delssohn Theatre with singer
humorist Fay Nicoll.
Mike Burstyn will be appearing
Feb. 9 -at 8:30 p.m., and Lori
Wilner and David Schecter will be
featured March 10 at 7:30 p.m.

Documentary items
sought for archives
by Holocaust Center

The Holocaust Memorial Cen-
ter has embarked on an intensive
effort to collect documentary
material from the Holocaust and
pre-Holocaust eras, and is appeal-
ing to the Detroit Jewish commu-
nity to help supplement the HMC
archives.
Further information regarding
material donations is available
from the Holocaust Memorial

Classes for diabetics
offered at Beaumont

A free cla,ss for diabetics and
their families will be held Dec. 18,
7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at William
Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
The session, which will be held
in the Nuclear Medicine Depart-
ment classroom, will cover the
diabetes disease process, diet
management and insulin injec-
tion.
