Cynthia Beth Bloom and David
Gene Romand were married re-
cently at Young Israel of Oak-
Woods. Rabbi James Gordon of-
ficiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mitcheal and Hilda Bloom of
Southfield. The bridegroom is the
son of Mrs. Sonia Israel Romand
of Los Angeles, Calif.
Joanne Levin was the matron of

honor. Bridesmaids were Pamela
Bloom, Judy Pasternak and the
bridegroom's sister, Sharon
Doyne.

Moshe Parry was the best man.
Ushers were the bride's brothers,
Kenneth J. Bloom and Richard J.
Bloom.

The couple is residing in Mon-
sey, N.Y.

Sadie and Morton Dermer of
Oak Park celebrated their 50th
anniversary on Nov. 11 at Mitch's
II at a dinner party given by their
children, Judy and Bernie Tar-
now of West Bloomfield and Shari
and Arthur Dermer of Birming-
ham.
Guests included their three
grandchildren, Eric, Lauren and
Mara Dermer, and friends and
relatives. Out-of-town guests in-
cluded Celia and Phil Kal-
manowitz, Peggy and Paul

Greenberg, Sylvia and Jess Mil-
ler, Ruth and Al Gursky, Kenny,
Kelly and Bob Aran of Los;
Angeles.
The senior Dermers are former
owners of Greenbush Inn and
have been realtors for the past 30
years.
Dermer is a member of the Per-
fection Lodge of the Masons, vice
president of the Real Estate and
Construction Lodge of B'nai
B'rith and a member of Temple
Israel.
