terances I hear of an anti-
Semitic case coming from
some black leaders."
Basically, Ravitz believes
his Council seat does not have
the political clout to attempt to
organize mediation sessions
between blacks and Jews. "I
have not been personally in-
volved in any way and I con-

them speak, you don't know
what they are thinking.
Hatred and pressure rise and
will show themselves in some
other fashion.
"Furthermore, when we
deny groups the right to speak
we play into their hands. The
public attention they get is ten
times the attention they could
have received otherwise."
