Senior residence lobby renovated
as nonagenarian marks milestone

Tillie and Morris Brandwine
have renovated and redecorated
the lobby and reception area of the
Jewish Federation Apartments in
Oak Park, in honor of the 90th
birthday of their aunt, Pauline
Feierstein.
Mrs. Feierstein, a resident in
the apartments--since 1971, was
honored, in addition, by her
daughter and son-in-law, Edith
and Joseph Snider, and grand-
children, Laura and Joel
Feldmesser by ari endowment es-

tablishing the Pauline Feierstein
Annual Birthday Concert. The
concert will take place yearly in
the apartments.
Mrs. Feierstein has lived in her
apartment for over 13 years. She
is an active volunteer. in the pro-
grams of the agency and th6-'‘
Jimmy Prentis Morris Branch of
the Jewish Community Center.
She serves as a floor representa- 1
tive and has received recognition<
for her knitting and culinary
skills.
