for women's group
The Jewish Welfare Federation
Women's Division "First Mon-
day" series concludes with its
third program, "Disarmament:
The Jewish Ethical Approach," at
8:30 a.m. Dec. 3 at the main
United Hebrew Schools building.

Leading the discussion on dis-
armament will be Rabbi Sherwin
Wine of the Birmingham Temple.

sections to tour
Holocaust center
The Kadima ($365) and Pre-
Campaign ($700) sections of the
Allied Jewish Campaign
Women's Division will sponsor a
tour of the Holocaust Memorial
Center on Monday. Following the
9:30 a.m. tour, brunch will be
served and Lawrence S. Jackier,
vice president of the HMC, will
address the group on behalf of the
Campaign.

Kadima Section; Ellen Bean is
chairman of the Pre-Campaign

Cataract Surgery," at 7:30 p.m.
Nov. 29 in Sinai's Zuckerman Au-
ditorium.
Moderator Dr. Sheldon Stern of
Sinai's ophthalmology depart-
ment, will describe inpatient and
outpatient procedures associated
with cataract surgery. A panel of
experts — Dr. Susan Thorns, Dr.
Robert Clark, Dr. Jeffrey Katz,
and Dr. Robert Gans — will re-
spond 'to questions.
