Traditional Are Our Traditions:

The topic of this third lecture is
Chanukah.
Rabbi Joseph Gutmann, profes-
sor of art and art history at Wayne
State University, will deliver the

Frumeth Hirsh was elected the
first woman president of Flint's
Cong. Beth Israel.
An attorney, Hirsh has been on
the Beth Israel board since 1982.
She was elected second vice
president for 1984-1985 and
chairman of the board's _ritual
committee.
Hirsh has sung Hebrew, Yid-
dish, art songs and musical thea-
ter tunes throughout the commu-
nity.
She was graduated from De-
Paul University with highest
honors as a music major. She
earned her law degree at Wayne
State University and is a member
of the firm of Pelavin, Pelavin and
Powers in Flint.

Ruth Stone, patriotic in-

the Meyer Prentis Manor, Jewish
Home for the Aged on Nov. 11 at 2
p.m.
The flag will be given in the

president.
Jason Hillman, whose great
