Orchards to begin Phonefriends aid The Orchards Children's Serv- ices is looking for National Coun- cil of Jewish Women members who would like to be Phonef- riends. Phonefriends are persons who participate in a call-in service for children who are alone after school while their parents are at work. The children can call in and know that there is someone who will listen to them. The program will begin on Dec. 3 and operate between 4 and 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday until June 13.
