Maccabi reunion
Nov. 3 at JCC
The Detroit-area contingent
from last summer's United States
Maccabi Youth Games will hold a
reunion 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at the
Jewish Community Center in
West Bloomfield.
The reunion, which is open to
athletes and coaches who took
part in the August event, will be
highlighted by a light dinner and
dancing to music by The Conver-
tibles. Admission is free.
Also, a committee for a Detroit
Maccabi club that will feature
year-round athletic, cultural and
social activities for Jewish youths
has been formed. Members of the
committee are Jill Berlin, Dr.
Mary Kofender, Debbie Borovoy,
Fern Fine and Doug Stone.
