Dr. Saul Friedlander, chairman
of the history department at Tel
Aviv University, will address the
'greater Detroit Chapter of
kladassah and the Midrasha, at a
j*?int program at 7 p.m. Sunday at
the LaMed Auditorium in the
main United Hebrew Schools
building.
Dr. Friedlander will speak on
The Prague Jewish Community
- Reminiscences and Reflec-
tions." The topic of the lecture was
chosen as a prelude to the "Preci-
ous Legacy" exhibit slated to come
to the Detroit Institute of Arts in
March 1985.
The community is invited free
of charge.

Breast cancer
topic of program

Harper-Grace Hospitals and
the city of Southfield will co-
sponsor a program entitled "Plain
Talk About Breast Cahcer" 7 p.m.
i'uesday at Birney Middle School
in Southfield.
Featured speakers for the pro-
gram are Dr. Silvia Martino,
assistant professor of medicine at
Wayne State University and Dr.
Barbara Threatt, director of
„reeving and detection services
at the Michigan Cancer Founda-
