Fiddler In The Kitchen, the cookbook published by Greater Detroit Section, National Council of Jewish Women, offers a variety of finger food recipes to be enjoyed at football parties or anytime. The recipes are tested, classified, cross indexed and easy to read. Most permit advanced preparation. For serious snackers, one might try Neil's Guacamole, Tuna Mousse served with toast points and cheese in pumpernickel bread, with the hollowed-out mor- sels used for dipping. For mealtime, Fiddler recom- mends these dishes: Bicycle Jim's Vegetable Chili, the Mexican Salad Bowl and Botana Mix. Almond Brittle Bars, Wiscon- sin Apple Cake, Black Bottom miniaure cup cakes and brownies will provide a sweet ending. Fiddler in the Kitchen is now in its second printing, available at the new NCJW offices, 30233 Southfield, Suite 100, Southfield 48076, 258-6000. Proceeds benefit local NCJW community service projects. Some senators were hoping to load it with amendments that in reality would nullify the treaty," passage of which is "long overdue," Kraft said. The convention, which has „ drawn the support of every post- World War II president except--2 Dwight Eisenhower and has been ratified by more than 90 coun tries, was introduced to the Se- nate for ratification by President Reagan last month.
