Slavin's memory

It is more than half a century
ice the Michigan Unemploy-
ent Security Act became law. Its
authorship may be unknown to
,early all of the living citizens in
this state. The passing last week
Cat= the age of 91 of Harry Slavin
'brings to mind the accom-
lishments of at least one of the
.nhitects of this law.
Harry Slavin merits remember-
':-.,-ig — not only for this important
service but also for his charm as a
person, his readiness to be of help
to young lawyers, his Jewishly-
dedicated identifications. He
wrote an important page in
l tdichigan legal history.
