Shapero Hall

The Wayne State Universit y
Board of Governors has re-named
the home of the school's College of
Pharmacy and Allied Health Pro-
fessions after the late Nate S
Shapero.
The building, at 1400 Chrysler
near the I-75-Gratiot inter-
change, was formerly the Health
Sciences Building and the WSU
School of Medicine.
Shapero, founder of CunninH
gham Drug Stores, donated fund
for the present Shapero Hall on
the WSU main campus, but the
pharmacy school moved from th
building in 1974.
Wayne State is planning dedi- 1
cation ceremonies for Shapero
Hall in November.
