' Dr. Sela, the president of the
Weizmann Institute of Science in
i 1-v-Aiovot, Israel, since 1975, is an
internationally acclaimed im-
munologist who is the co-
developer of a drug for the treat-
ment of multiple sclerosis.
He has been professor of im-
munology at the institute since
_1963, the year he created its de-
,-partment of chemical immunol-
ogy.
