Israel shaliach to JNF to speak
at Pioneer Women luncheon

Lee Wagman, president of the
Greater Detroit Council of
Pioneer Women/Naamat, an-
nounces that Tzvi Bisk, emissary
from Israel to the Jewish National
Fund, will be the featured speaker
at the Pioneer Women/Naamat
annual donor luncheon to be held
on Oct. 28 at noon at Cong. Beth
Achim.
Bisk was graduated from
Hiram College, Temple Univer-
sity and Gratz College. He spent
12 years in the research depart-
ment of Beit Berl Institute where
he specialized in research on
Israel-Diaspora relations. He is
the editor of Dialogue (the publi-
cation of the young leadership di-
vision of the Jewish Agency).
He has published in the
Jerusalem Post, New Outlook,
Jewish Liberation Journal,
Judaism, Reconstructionist,
Jewish Frontier, ORT Reporter,
Israel Monthly and various other
Jewish and Israeli publications.
He was co-editor of a series of
ten study kits for the youth and
pioneering department of the
Jewish Agency on Zionism. His
articles have been translated into
French, Spanish, Hebrew and
Portuguese. He has also compiled
an historical outline of Arab ter-
ror and a biographical outline of
David Ben-Gurion.
