HZA to hold national convention

New York — The Herut
Zionists of America (HZA) will
mark its 59th anniversary at its
national convention, Nov. 10 - 11
in New York.
The opening convocation will
also mark the ninth anniversary
of the United Nations vote which
attempted to equate Zionism with
racism. Two prominent American
political leaders will address that
and other issues in an evening
which will also feature Dr. Ben-
jamin Begin, son of the former Is-

raeli Prime Minister.
A program will feature work-
shop sessions dealng with Politi-
cal Activity, Hasbarah, Aliyah
and Jewish Education, Herut on
Campus, New Leadership, and
four projects to advance the ideals
and vision of Zionist founder Ze'ev
Jabotinsky. Standing committees
will finalize work on Herut's new
constitution, adopt policy resolu-
tions, and elect a slate of officers
and directors to lead Herut for the
next two years.
