The BBYO Fall Conclave at
Camp Maas will be held Oct.
26-28. The theme is "Tradition: Is
There Still A Fiddler on The
Roof?" Applications are available
from AZA and BBG chapter
presidents as well as from the
BBYO office. Deadline for appli-
cation is Oct. 8. Overall coor-
dinators are Robbie Ellenstein of
Jolson AZA and Ellen Schoenfeld
of Masada BBG. Staff Coordinator
is Jan Lachman.
BBYO announces the appoint-
ment of Lynn Schwartzberg as
adviser to Zahav BBG. Openings
for AZA and BBG advisers still
exist in West Bloomfield and in
the Oak Park-Southfield area.
Anyone interested should contact
the BBYO office at 552-8260.
BBYO is forming an AZA chap-
ter in the Huntington Woods-Oak
Park area. The chapter will be
open to Jewish boys, ages 14-18,
or grade nine through 12. The

first meeting will be held on Wed-
nesday at 7:30 p.m. in the home of
Doug Levy, 14610 Borgman, Oak
Park. For information, contact
Rhonda Dubin, program super-
visor, 352-2538.

Judaic collection
at U-M library

The University of Michigan's
department of rare books and spe-
cial collections is presenting an
exhibition of Judaica now
through Oct. 13.
Manuscripts, printed books
from the 16th through the 20th
Centuries, as well as related
materials are on display in the
exhibition area of the department
on the seventh floor of the Harlan
Hatcher Graduate Library in Ann
Arbor.
The department of rare books
and special collections is open
from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5
p.m. Monday through Friday, and
10 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
