Black predominated in the evening collections, especially in Boker's bare-shouldered jumpsuit and dress with draped shoulders. Gottex of- fered a long black sequined gown that sparkled through- out the brightly lit social hall. WOODCREEK COUNSELING 31275 Northwestern Highway, Suite 243 Farmington Hills, Michigan 48018 Yitzhak Rabin Tel Aviv (JTA) — Incoming De- fense Minister Yitzhak Rabin took over from the outgoing minister, Moshe Arens, with the traditional welcome of a fanfare and army honor guard as Rabin entered the Defense Ministry- army general headquarters com- pound in Tel Aviv on Friday. After being greeted by the chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Moshe Levy, and the Ministry Director General, Mendi Meron, Rabin, who was ac- companied by his wife Leah, joined Arens in the ministerial office for the formal takeover ceremony. Rabin had warm words of praise Moshe Arens for Arens who, he said, had taken over the ministry in a difficult period — the war in Lebanon. Rabin said that every effort should be made to ensure the re- •turn home of Israeli prisoners of war and the IDF would also be brought back as soon as that was possible with the continued secu- rity of Israel's northern settle- ments and towns. Rabin noted that 17 years had passed since he had been directly involved in the defense estab- lishment, when he ended his term as chief of staff and became Is- rael's Ambassador to Washing- ton.
