Fashion Show

350 women

From daringly-cut swimsuits to silk evening gowns, the latest from
the Israel fashion industry was on display as nearly 350 women here last
week were awed by the annual Israel Bond fashion show.
Held at Cong. Shaarey Zedek, the afternoon showcased the designs of
the major Israeli fashion houses: Diva; Lisa Boker; Oded Gera; Gottex;
Helen Knits; Tamara Jones; Maskit; Gaby Model Knits; Niba, Ltd.; Gideon
Oberson; Rikma; Tadmor; Adam and Eve; and Beged-Or.
The show began with a striking array of swimwear and coverups.
Models paraded on the Y-shaped runway displaying a variety of colors,
solids and prints.
Red and white cruisewear was a popular feature and lemon yellow
jumpsuits from Gideon Oberson proved delightful. Capri pants, sidebelted
sheath and shirt and top set in beiges were Diva favorites, while Adam and
Eve focused on burnt orange gauze in its jumpsuit and sheath outfits.
