Kessler-Schane
Pamela Sue Schane and Dr.
Maury M. Kessler were married
June 24 at Temple Israel. Rabbi
Harold Loss and Cantor Harold
Orbach officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Manny (Rae) Schane of
Southfield. Parents of the brideg-
room are Mr. and Mrs. Irvin
(Janet) Kessler of Oak Park.
Evelyn Schane, sister of the
bride, was the maid of honor.
Cindy Bovovay Diskin was the
matron of honor. Barb Curhan of
Irvine, Calif., and Wendy Stone of
Tonapah, Nev., were bridesmaids.
Dr. Mike Baldwine of Big
Rapids was the best man. Charles
Kessler, Neil Silver and Jeffrey
Diskin were ushers.
Grandparents participating in
the ceremony were Isak Blinder,
grandfather of the bride, Sam
Kessler of Oak Park, grandfather
of the bridegroom, and Mr. and
Mrs. Bennie Bazaman of Houston,
Tex., grandparents of the brideg-
room.
Out-of-town guests came from
Chicago, Toronto, Cincinnati,
Houston, Florida and New York.
Following a Toronto and
Arizona honeymoon, the couple is
residing in Troy.
Cooper-Sokoloff
Howard Jeffrey Cooper and
Janet Ruth Sokoloff were married
on July 3 at Cong. Beth El in Sud-
bury, Mass. Cooper is educational
director of Beth El. He is the son of
Mrs. Annette S. Cooper of Oak
Park and Louis M. Cooper of West
Bloomfield.
The new Mrs. Cooper is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike
Sokoloff of Moorestown, N.J. They
will reside in Newtonville, Mass.
