Bea Feigelman, president of the
Women of Jewish National Fund,
announces that the women will
hold their opening meeting of the
year at noon on Tuesday at Tem-
ple Emanu-El.
The women will announce their
new project for their annual
fund-raising donor event which
will take place on Dec. 11 at Cong.
Shaarey Zedek.
The guest speaker will be Ed-
ward Rosenthal, executive direc-
tor of the JNF Council of Met-
ropolitan Detroit.
Ann Grossman will give the in-
vocation, and a musical program
of Yiddish, Hebrew and English
songs by "Di Klezmer Tsvai"
featuring Larry Bassin and Joel

The Women's Division of the
Jewish Welfare Federation will
sponsor a three-part series of so-
cial awareness programs to take
place the first Monday of the
month starting Oct. 1, with suc-
ceeding programs on Nov. 5 and
Dec. 3.
The "First Monday" series pre-
sents an opportunity to meet with
informed speakers and share
breakfast and conversation with
other women interested in issues
of personal, community and na-
tional concern.
