Golf playoffs
results listed

The championship playoffs for
the Sam Gross Memorial Trophy
were held this past weekend at
the Dun Robin Golf Course in
Plymouth.
The defending champions, Jack
Gold and Isadore Silverman, were
defeated on the final weekend by
the new champions Phil and Mike
Jaffe. The team of Marvin Barkin
and Jack Sweet slipped into the
second place slot.
The Sam Gross Memorial
Trophy is awarded annually to
the winners of the Suburban Golf
League. This league has been in
existence for over 20 years and is
limited to exceptionally qualified
golfers.
