Peggy and Harry Miller, went
blind, so Peg and Harry got him a
seeing-eye dog that does an excel-
lent job of leading Bo around .. .
Tuffy is his name and he's a white
toy poodle . . . seven inches tall!"
SEPT. 8, 1967 . . . "One day last
week, Lou Baron was listening to
the ballgame and set his alarm
clock in case he fell asleep on the
couch . . . He did, and didn't hear
it ring . . . Donna, 12-year-old
daughter of Lou and Rita Baron,
went over to wake him, saying,
`Daddy, it's 10 to 11" . . . Lou
mumbled back, 'In whose favor?"
NOV. 1, 1967 . . . "Geri
Diamond was given a parking tic-
ket recently and neglected to have
it paid . . . Finally, a warning
came to the house . . . send $5 or
get a warrant for arrest . . . Geri
told husband Dave to pay the tic-
ket for her . . . He adamantly re-
fused . . . that is until suddenly
remembering a very important
thing . . . the car was registered in
his name!"

Clothing artists show
fashions in Ann Arbor

"Wearables," a fashion show of
clothing by 21 Michigan artists,
will be presented by the Ann
Arbor Art Association at 8:30 p.m.
Sept. 28 in the ballroom of the
Ann Arbor Inn. Mrs. Paula Blan-
chard, wife of the governor, will
preside as honorary chairman.
