Israeli dance
workshops slated

Judy Goldstein, governing
board member of the Jewish Par-
ents Institute, is producing an Is-
raeli folkdance workshop in co-
operation with the Jewiti Com-
munity Center at 8 p.m. Wednes-
days at the Jimmy Prentis Morris
Branch of the Center.
Pre-registration and pre-
payment is required. Classes will
begin Wednesday. Beth Norman,
dance instructor for the JPI and a
member of Hora Aviv, local pro-
fessional dance troupe, is the in-
structor.

named Virginia Benner director
of legal services.
Before coming to Sinai, Benner
handled probate, real estate and
contract matters. Previously she
was employed for ten years by
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of
Michigan as associate general
counsel of regulatory affairs and
prior to that assistant general
counsel of corporate law.
Benner is currently a member
of the State Bar of Michigan, Oak-
land County Bar Association,
Women's Lawyers Association of
Michigan and the Meadowlake
School PTA.
Benner earned a J.D. degree at
Wayne State University Law
School in 1974. She received her
Bachelor of Arts degree from
Mercy College of Detroit in 1965.
