YOUNG ISRAEL TEENS announce the appointment of Debbie Beres as the dele- gate from the chapter to the National Conference of Synagogue Youth's regional board. Debbie also is the new chapter president for YIT. The first fall meeting of the Genealogical Branch of the Jewish Historical Society of Michigan will take place, Sept. 18 at the main United Hebrew Schools building at 7:45 p.m. The program will include; election of officers, reports about the National Jewish Genealogical Seminar, and a problem solving session. The meeting is open to in- terested guests.
