will host a dinner to benefit
the Hadassah' Medical
Organization at their
Franklin home on Tuesday
at 7 p.m.
Charlotte Jacobson, a
former national president of
Hadassah, will be the guest
speaker. Mrs. Jacobson
supervised the rebuilding of
the Hadassah Hospital and
other facilities on Mt.
Scopus following the 1967
war and the new Moshe"
Sharett Institute of Oncol-
ogy at Kiryat Hadassah.
She also has held national
posts in many other organ
izations including the
Jewish Agency, vice
president of the United
Jewish Appeal, and served
as chairman of the Ameri-
can Section of the World
Zionist Organization.
Funds raised by the
Hadassah Medical Organ-
ization are used for healing,
teaching and research. The
Hadassah Medical Complex
includes the Hadassah-
Hebrew University Medical
Center at Ein Karem and
the Hadassah Hospital at
Mt. Scopus. There are in-
patient facilities for over
1,100, over 60 out-patient.
