Young Israel convention
slated here in November

The Midwest branches of
Young Israel will haye their
annual convention on
Thanksgiving weekend,
Nov. 23-25, at the Hilton
Hotel, Romulus.
Sanford
-Eisenberg,
president of the host Young
Israel Council of Metropoli-
tan Detroit, announces the
convention theme is "Proj-
ect for the 80s: Reaching
Out/Reaching In." This
program is under the direc-
tion of Mrs. Esther. Posner,
program committee chair-
man.
Young Israel branches
from Cleveland, Canton and
Dayton, Ohio; St. Louis,
Mo.;Chicago, Ill.;
Pittsbu
rgh, Pa.; Syracuse
and Buffalo, N.Y.; and To-
ronto, and Ontario, Canada,
will join the three branches
in metropolitan Detroit.
