JPI launches fall programs

The Jewish Parents Insti-
tute (JPI), an affiliate of the
Jewish Community Center,
will launch three new pro-
grams this fall.
JPI's Bar/Bat Mitzvah
Program will combine the
traditional aspects of b'nai
mitzvah education with a
study of ethics and the
Jewish experience.
The institute will also in-
troduce a Teen Club de-
signed for students -in
grades eight-12. The club
will combine educational„
community service and so-

cial programs and will deal
with such topics as anti-
Semitism and intermar-
riage.

folkdance workshop for
adults will meet at 8 p.m.
Wednesday at the JCC
Jiminy Prentis Morris

ning Sept. 12•
