Fisher accepted the Justice Louis D. Brandeis Award of the Zionist Organization of America at its national executive committee lunch- eon Sunday at the Ramada Hotel in Southfield. Upon accepting the award, Fisher issued a warning to Jews to be vigil- ant about prospects for peace in the Middle East. "We have to be on guard. We can't take anything for granted in the future," he said. In his call for Jewish unity he added that in order to reach that goal "divisive- ness in Israel must be re- ctified and healed." He lauded the work of the ZOA and urged the enlist- ing of youth to carry on the programs established by the organization.
