UHS faculty and board slated
to meet Jerusalem educator
Dr. Ron Kronish of the In-
stitute for Israel-Diaspora
Relations of the Hartman
Institute in Jerusalem will
speak to United Hebrew
Schools faculty on Sept. 4.
Dr. Kronish will work
with the UHS faculty on the
teaching of Israel and will
participated in a special
training session at the He-
brew University. These
teachers will be introducing
courses both at the Akiva
Hebrew Day School as well
as the Hillel Day School.
The special relationship
between the UHS and the
Hebrew University of
Jerusalem is funded by a

Dr. Teller established a re-
lationship with the Melton
Center For Jewish Educa-
tion in the Diaspora•of the
Hebrew University of
Jerusalem. The program
with the Melton Center of
the Hebrew University will
include a program on the
teaching of Israel for grades
kindergarten through 12,
the introduction of values
materials on the high school
level and a training pro-
gram for day school faculty.
