`Voice of Hope' warning issued
Miami Beach — The Na-
tional Jews For Jews
Organization has warned
Jewish community leaders
in the -United States and
'Canada to notify their con-
stituencies that George Otis
and his Middle East TV-
radio 'network, "Voice of
Hope" is an effort to convert
Israeli Jews to Christianity.
According to Rabbi Rubin
R. Dobin, chairman of the
Miami Beach-based Jews
for Jews Organization, Otis
operates under the um-
brella organization called
High Adventure with head-
quarters in Van Nuys,
Calif., and Toronto,.
Canada. He has been send-
ing out appeals, for help
from Jews to strengthen his
net- work and programming
which emanates from his
studios in south Lebanon
just over the northern bor-
der of Israel.
He purportedly asks
these funds from Jews so
that he could better explain
the Israel position to the
Arab world. Rabbi, Dobin,
said that Otis and his organ-
izations are using these re-
sources to call on Jewish lis-
teners to abandon their
Jewish faith and accept
Christianity.
,
.
Rabbi Dobin's investiga-
tion has unearthed evidence
pointing to the assistance
and cooperation given to
Otis by Moshe Rosen and'
his Jews for Jesus mission-
ary group. For a
documented brochure on
this issue, send a stamped,
self-addressed envelope to
