New York — A national
out-reach program for
Jewish singles, aged 22 to
32, who are out of college'
and living in communities
away from their home
cities, has been started by
the committee on family life
of the Central Conference of
American Rabbis (CCAR),
the national organization of
Reform rabbis.
In announcing the proj-
ect, the CCAR Newsletter
said that parents would be
encouraged to send the
names and addresses of
their children living in
other communities to Rabbi
John Spitzer of Canton,
Ohio. The Newsletter said
that, in Canton, these
young Jewish adults will be
linked to Reform congrega-
tions, through a computer
program, by zip code.
Congregations, in turn,
will be notified of the
presence of a Jewish single
in their area and they will
be encouraged to contact the
single for any singles pro-
gramming the congregation
may have, or as part of a
congregational out-reach
program.

mann Institute cancer re-
searcher Prof. Michael
Feldman has received the
Griffuel Prize awarded by
the French Association of
Cancer Research, the insti-
tute has announced.
Feldman, a pioneer of
cancer research in Israel, is
dean of the Weizmann Insti-
tute's biology faculty and
founder and head of its cell
biology department. He was
cited for his important con-
tributions to the study of
cancer metastases, the sec-
ondary growths which
spread the original disease
to other parts of the body.
The institute also an-
nounced that a documen-
tary film describing on-
going institute research
into the changing composi-
tion of the Dead Sea has won
a Golden Anchor, the first
prize in the 16th. Interna-
tional Marine and Explora-
tion Film Festival, an an-
nual event held in Toulon,
France.
