According to longtime
member Mary Bookstein,
the 51st anniversary cele-
bration has special meaning
for the women's service
group. Fifty-one years ago
when the organization was
losing membership from its
senior women's organize,
tion, its then-President
Miriam Weinberg asked her
daughter, Helen SchWartz,
to help rejuvenate the
group. Mrs. Schwartz is the
founder and honorary
president of the young
women's division of
Women's Bicur Cholem.
Last Year„Mrs. Books-
tein approached her grand-
daughter, Shari Klein, to
organize young women to
help perpetuate the charit-
able services provided over
the past half century by the
Major Credit Cards
women. At last year's
luncheon a young women's
division was again
launched. At this year's
donor, the young women's
division's newly installed
officers will participate.
