The Jewish Community
Council has produced for
display at the Michigan
State Fair a large poster
stating "Michigan Is Six
Times the Size of Israel."

Michigan, Israel, Lebanon,
Syria and Jordan, shown for
relative distance compari-
son.

tington Woods chairs a
committee planning the
Council's exhibit at the
State Fair. Located in the

State Fairgrounds. the

Aug. 24 through Sept. 3, 10
a.m.-10 p.m.
Council's exhibit: which
will introduce newly pro-
duced slide presentations,
will provide 350,000 fair-
goers with general informa-
tion on Detroit's Jewish
community as well as on
Council activities. '
Each day, a council
member organization will
provide volunteers to staff
the booth and will display
the group's literature.
Organizations scheduled

Naamat, Jewish Parents
Institute, United Jewish
Social Club, B'nai B'rith
Metropolitan Detroit Coun-
cil, Jewish War Veterans of
U.S.A. Department of
Michigan, Workmen's Cir-

Women's Council of Met-
ropolitan Detroit,
Jabotinsky Society of
Herut-Zionists of America
and the Zionist Organiza-
tion of America.
On Shabbat, the Greater
Detroit Round Table, Na-
tional Conference of Chris-
tians and Jews will staff the
booth.
