JSO has tribute program

The Jewish Students
Organization at Oakland
University recently hon-
ored its new officers, alumni
and graduating seniors.
Graduating seniors who
were honored include: Caro-
lyn Cutler, past president;
Sora Direnfeld, past trea-
surer; and Steve Showfer,
former board member.
New officers- are: Elliott
Rosenbaum, chairman of
the board; Sue Moss,
president; Diane Epstein,
vice president; and Ellen
Kershenbaum, treasurer.
The new officers were cited
"for outstanding service."
Dan Kreiman will serve as a
board member-at-large.
Alumna Judy Nolish was
cited "for her efforts in
promoting an alumni asso-
ciation." Gerald Corlin,
immediate past president,
and Jonathan Jaffa, newly
elected president of the
B'nai B'rith Hillel Founda-
tion Board of Governors,
were cited "for their efforts
in support of the JSO," a
B'nai B'rith Hillel coun-
selorship.
Beginning with the fall
semester, the JSO office will
be located at 34 Oakland
Center on campus. Students

can currently contact the
CIPO at 49 Oakland Center.
