"Heritage: Civilization and the Jews" is a panoramic view of the Jewish experience from Mt. Sinai 4,000 years ago up until 1984. It focuses on fig- ures throughout history, in- cluding Moses, Jesus, Freud and Einstein as well as modern figures associated with the founding of the State of Israel, like Chaim Weizmann and David Ben-Gurion. About 40 percent of the filming was done on loca- tion in Israel and the re- mainder was done in ten other countries including Egypt, Poland, Germany and the United States.
