Among the founders of the hospital, the Nusbaums have endowed the workshop in nuclear medicine and bi- ology and last year pur- chased a dialysis machine for the pediatric dialysis unit. James Clarkson has an- nounced his candidacy for- judge of the 46th District. Clarkson, who served four terms as the mayor of Southfield, is a former member of the Oakland County Board of Super- visors. He‘was elected to the Michigan State Legislature in 1959 and represented the 46th District through 1960. Clarkson served as a judge in the 46th District Court from 1969 to 1978. S. Allyah down over last year Jerusalem (JTA) — Im- migration fell sharply in June when only 896 people made aliyah, representing a 22 percent drop from May and a 36 percent decline compared to June, 1983, the Absorption Ministry re- pdrted last week. The largest single group — 219 —came from the U.S. There were 167 from Rumania, 83 from France, 52 from Brit- ain, 44 from Argentina and 119 from all of Africa. Only 24 immigrants arrived from the Soviet Union.
