Dr. David Benson has
been named the first reci-
pient of the Max R. Beitman
Medical Award given by the
Jewish Home for Aged.
Dr. Beitman retired as
medical director in May
1983 after an affiliation
with the home which began
in February 1959. Upon his
retirement, the home estab-
lished the annual award to
recognize persons "who
demonstrate outstanding
involvement in the home's
provision of medical care."
