Jerusalem (JTA) —
Changes adopted by the
Jewish Agency Assembly
here last week to raise the
level of non-Zionist partici-
pation in the Zionist move-
ment were hailed last
Thursday as a "Zionist vic-
tory" by Leon Dulzin,
chairman of the Jewish
Agency and World Zionist
Organization Executives.
In an interview with the
Jewish Telegraphic Agency
as the Assembly dismissed
as "nonsense" fears ex-
pressed by some Zionist
leaders that they were los-
ing power and influence to
the "non-Zionists," specifi-
cally the Jewish "fund-
raisers" from abroad.
That concern had been
expressed publicly by Al-
leck Resnick, president of
the Zionist Organization
of America (ZOA) and Ivan,
Novick, past president of
the ZOA at a ZOA confer-
ence in Jerusalem last
month.
Among the changes in-
troduced and accepted by
the Jewish Agency Assem-
bly was the expansion of the
WZO Executive from 12 to
18 members. Nine will re-
present the various Zionist
parties, six the American
Jewish communities and
three Jewish communities
in the rest of the world,
through the Keren
Hayesod.

Tel Aviv (JTA) — Fifteen
Druze from the Golan
Heights were detained
three weeks ago on suspi-
cion of having undertaken
•hostile activities, it was dis-
closed Sunday.
The . 15 are to be charged
with placing explosives at
the homes of other Golan
Druze they accuse of having
cooperated with the Israel
authorities, organizing hos-
tile demonstrations and the
possession of illegal arms.
Security sources said some
of those detained had ad-
mitted to the charges
aiainst them and had
helped reconstruct the inci-
dents for their Inter-
rogators.
Meanwhile, 20 Druze who
had been released from Is-
raeli prisons where they
had been serving lengthy
sentences for hostile activi-
ties, under the Israel-Syria
prisoner of war exchange
last week, were greeted on
their return home to the
Golan Druze town of Majdel
Shams with wild, anti- •
Israeli demonstrations.
