Former State Represen-
tative Albert A. Kramer, a
six-year veteran of the
Michigan House of Repre-
sentatives and presently a
special assistant attorney
general, has announced his
candidacy for the 67th Dis-
trict State Representative.
Kramer was graduated
from Wayne State Univer-
sity and has been a practic-
ing attorney for 35 years. In
addition to being a special
assistant attorney general,
he is presently legal counsel
for the Michigan House of
Representatives, committee
on insurance, and also
served for many years as
arbitrator, appointed by the
American Arbitration
Association, in addition to
serving as a mediator for
the Circuit Court.
Kramer also has served
as a member of the Repre-
sentative Assembly of the
State Bar of Michigan,
which is the highest-policy
making body of the State
Bar.
He has also served as a
public member of the execu-
tive managing board of di-
rectors of Blue Shield of
Michigan and as a member
of the Vocational Rehabili-
tation Planning Committee
Services.
Kramer has a "Certificate
of Award" from Oakland
County Association for Re-
tarded Children "for his
services on behalf of the
handicapped."
Kramer is a member and
former officer of Cong. B'nai
Moshe and a 40-year
member of the Jewish War
Veterans and the Israel
Lodge of B'nai B'rith and a
past member of the B'nai
B'rith Anti-Defamation
League Advisory Board.
He is past vice president
of the Detroit Zionist Fed-
eration.
