it's still as good as when I
was a kid. I took a ride out,
but to my dismay found that
the place was gone.
"Checking the phone
book, I discovered that the
dairy had • outlets in
Livonia, Garden City and
Plymouth. I took a ride to
the Livonia store, and to
da!, there was the pepper-
mint ice cream. Was it as
good as when I was a kid?
You bet! The Livonia store
is located on Plymouth
Road, between Farmington
and Stark. It's worth the
drive."

FIRST NOVEL written
by former Detroiter Judith
Beth Cohen, Seasons (Per-

written in English, it was
originally published in

he vowed to dedicate his life

Although Judith's book is
about a couple who move to

jacket compares this mod-
ern couple to their ances-
tors, the wandering Jews

print in Germany . . . where
it has sold almost 60,000
