WSU Hillel board installed

Jonathan Jaffa was in-
stalled as president of the
board of governors of the
B'nai B'rith Hillel Founda-
tion at Wayne State Uni-
versity at its annual instal-
lation meeting.
Installed with him were:
Dr. Joan Edelheit, Kurt
Singer and Gerson Horton,
vice presidents; Louis Segel,
treasurer; and Leah Hadas-
sah Lazarus, secretary.
For the first time in its
history, the board awarded
11111•1•1 ■ 1111e

lifetime honorary member-
ships. Recipients were:
Rabbi Max Kapustin, direc-
tor of the Hillel Foundation
at WSU from 1948 to 1976;
Milton M. Weinstein,
Nathan D. Rubenstein and
Morris Direnfeld.

Mike Silverstein, newly
installed president of the
WSU Hillel Foundation's
student board, brought
greetings to the new Hillel
board of governors.
