Gordon's 60th wedding an-
niversary. The Torah is
being presented by the Gor-
dons' children, Mr. and Mrs.
George N. Gordon of Glen-
coe, Ill. and Dr. and Mrs.
Norman R. Schakne of
Bloomfield Hills, and
grandchildren.
The Gordons have been
active in many community
activities. Mrs. Gordon is a
life member of the National
Council of Jewish Women,
Had assah, City of Hope,
Pioneer Women, Zedakah
Club, WonTen's American
ORT, Princess Rebecca,
Sinai Hospital and Adat
Shalom Sisterhood.
The senior Gordon has re-
ceived the City of Hope's
Research Fellow Award and
the B'nai B'rith Scroll of
Honor in Miami. He is the
recipient of the State of Is-
