Entertainer Joey Russell
will appear at the Louis
Marshall Suburban B'nai
B'rith Lodge tribute dinner
to be held 6 p.m. June 26 at
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
Russell, who recently re-
turned from one of his many
trips to Israel, will give a
first-hand account of his
most recent visit and the
progress being made with
the proceeds from the sale of
Israel Bonds.
The son of an Orthodox
rabbi, he is a founding
member of the Ambaas-
sador's Society of Trustees
(purchasers of $10,000 or
more to Israel_Bonds), a
longtime Israel Bond
chairman in his native
Southern Connecticut and
has participated in more
than a dozen Bond missions
to Israel.
In the entertainment
world, Russell has per-
formed in major night clubs
and hotels throughout the
country, including the
Copacabana, Concord
Hotel, Grossinger's and
Palmer House.
