Jerusalem (JTA) — Israel
has been angered by Egypt's
reaction to recent events at
Ein Al-Hilweh refugee
camp in Is aeli-
administered south leba-
non and other moves by
Cairo which it considers
anti-Israel.
Zvi Kedar, the Foreign
Ministry's Deputy Director
General, summoned the
Egyptian Charge d' Affairs
in Tel Aviv, Mohammed
Basiouny, to convey his
government's serious dis-
pleasure. Egypt, for its part,
lodged a formal complain
with the Israeli Ambas-
sador in Cairo, Moshe Sas-
son, over alleged actions by
the Israel Defense Force in
Ein Al-Hilweh.
The IDF recently con-
ducted searches in the refu-
gee camp for alleged ter-
rorists and reported un-
covering a large arms cache.
Three Palestinians were
killed and a number were
injured in subsequent dis-
turbances. Israel insists
that the troubles in the
camp stemmed from inter-
nal dissension among the
inmates and that no IDF
soldiers were involved in
the shootings.
But Cairo sharply de-
nounced Israel during a
United Nations Security
Council debate on the mat-
ter where the Egyptian
delegate charged Israel
with aggression and ter-
rorism and proposed sanc-
tions. Kedar noted that
Egypt has been the only
country to react in such
manner.

Violence mars
film premiere
• m W. Germany

Bonn (JTA) — Two films
about young, neo-Nazis, one
made in West Gerinany and
the other in Australia, drew'
criticism and attracted vio-
lence at their German pre-
mieres last week.
In Frankfort, a group of
neo-Nazis firebombed a
theater where Die Erban
'(The Inheritors) was slated
to open. The Australian
film, which puts forth the
idea that the upsurge of
nea-Nazism in Germany is
less inspired by old ideals
than by thO social back-
ground of youths in
modern-day German
society, has had a lukewarm
reception from.the critics.
The other movie, Morgen
in Alabama (Tomorrow in
Alabama), depicts a nee-
Nazi-inspired assassination
attempt during an election
campaign. It has also re-
ceived mixed reviews.
